Salt Water Aquarium Tips and Tutorials

How do you get rid off a hazy build up on the front glass of a reef tank.?

I have a reef tank and the front glass is hazy and not clear. I can’t seem to scrub it off. I was told that it might be calcium build up. The funny part of it is its only on the front glass.
I have a hazy build up on the inside of my aquarium glass. I can’t seem to scrub it off. I was told that it might be mineral deposit or calcium build up. The bad part it is only on the front glass.

it is calcium build up i have it on one of my tanks i’ve tried everything from ajax to bleach, vinegar and baking soda, orange clean and just about anything else i could think of and it wouldn’t come off more than likely its etched into the glass and it won’t ever come off sucks to say but you will more than likely have to get a new tank or live with it

Do i have to have a lid on my saltwater reef tank?

    anti-fog sprays, wipes, etc. helps.

If there are any other problems, I reccomend going into a pet store. They may reccomend all types of good aplliances to keep a tank clean, in & out.
