What type of Fish/Corals in a 75gal Reef(Marine) Tank?
What type of Fish/Corals would go well together in a 75gal Reef Tank. It’s not set up yet, just looking for ideas. Yes, there is live rock, sand, etc. Sump style filter.
Some good hardy corals for new set ups are green star polyps(very quick spreaders), mushrooms, bubble corals are fun but you ave to feed them every day or so, favia are good mainly because they can withstand bad water quality more so than most other corals. Fish/ lawnmower blenny( just in case you get a little algae outbreak, which usually happens at some point or another)clownfish if you like them. If you really want a tang just get one since your tank is a bit on the small side. There’s a ton of things you can get but go slowly and do alot of research on things before you buy. Trust me it helps to know what kind of care things need before buying because alot of LFS’s are there to make money and don’t necessarily care if it lives or dies.
It really all depends on your lighting but i personally would go with xenia and polyps for inverts because they are pretty easy and xenia is very pretty when it pulsates. As for fish its really up to you as long as they dont get too big and they dont eat certain corals that you want then you can buy them.
