what type of light bulbs do I need to have for a reef tank?

I have a 36" light fixture with 3 T8 on it but I have a felling that those are not the right ones for my tank since I want to with a reef tank.. so can some one tell me what type or what light should I get for my reef tank ?

you need daylight bulbs and true atinic bulbs and it depends on what size tank you have. because you need to find out the amount of watts you need. and the min for soft corals only is 5 watts per gallon.

in my reef tank i have 6-7 watts per gallon

the way you find out how many watts you need is by multiplying your tank size by the amount of watts you want. so it would look like this 60×6=360watts
