i have to disagree with you..
First of all, plants takes ammonia and nitrates as their food..which is automatically healthier fish..
Second, in planted tank, CO2 is the most important thing, which it produced by fishes, and taken by plant as their fuel to photosynthetis, which is stabilized pH
Third, you can create an ecosystem in your tank with adding real plants..i’ve read it in Diana Walstad’s book..
