my saltwater aquarium setup 1 day old

Moved my manuelli to a 50g with a aquaclear 500 and am now trying to start a saltwater tank .I am running a fluval 405,2 maxi-jet 900’s and a Rena smartheater 300. In the tank now is 80lbs of CaribSea Aragonite and 22.5lbs of instant ocean sea salt.I am working on getting the salinity correct .I have a aquarium hydrometer plus with thermometer .I can’t remember my first reading but it was not in the green safe zone so I added fresh water and now the fourth mark above the green safe zone is at the surface do I need to add more salt to get the middle of the safe zone to be at the surface?Much help is needed as I am a novice and don’t want to make mistakes.I will soon have a protien skimmer live rock and lights once I get the salinity correct please comment so I can develope a thriving aquarium
