=O
please and thank you ^^
You need a heater and a filter. You need a decent sand substrate for your fish to burrow in, but not coral sand as this is bad for any fish other than marine fish, as it is known to irritate fish’s gills. Brackish is around 1/3-2/3 salt. You need to research more to find more exact specs. You need the following accessories: salinity tester, hardness tester, pH tester, ammonia tester, nitrite tester, nitrate tester. You will need a tank of 30 gallons or more.
Most medium to large peaceful brackish fish available will do well with purple spaghettis. This includes: monos, scats, archer fish, dragon gobies, chromides, sailfin mollies, mudskippers, four eyed fish. Bear in mind some of those fish are not compatible with one another but are compatible with spaghetti eels so do your research before putting them together. You don’t need many rocks, but stay away from pH affecting rocks such as Tufa and also stay away from un-aged bogwood as these also affect your pH, you will have to age them first before adding them to your tank. You don’t need that many plants either, and you have to make sure plants are hardy to salt first. A good choice would be Java Fern or a small mangrove (these require specialist care and are best kept in an aquarium that has some space at the top so the mangrove can make it’s branches reach above the water, as mangroves need to be only partially submerged.
I wish you and your eels the best of luck.
