February 13th, 2010 at 7:13 pmhow many pounds of live rock do you have in your tank cause im starting mine up and so far i only have 10lbs, gonna get maybe another 5lbs or 10lbs at the end of this week.building up the rocks first then i’ll buy fish and other stuff on boxing day(thats the day after christmas i case you don’t know) when everything is cheaper plus it will add more time for my tank to cycle.

February 13th, 2010 at 7:13 pmNo ofense but do you realy want advice from this guy,I mean look at his tank? I got a 12 gal reef which looks way more clean. After buying xpensive filters and doing research I have come to the fact that 2 good hang on filters with bacteria housingunits will keep your tank realy clean along with 2 turbine fans.A magnet brush will keep the walls in your tank from turning green like this guys. Most importantly monitor your fishes health and do weekly water changes. I hope my advice could help.
