Our maroon clown …
Our maroon clown was the only fish in his 30gal for a year. When we added the bicolor angel they were best friends. I don’t know if this is true for all maroons but mine seems to like angels. When the bicolor in this video died, we added a Koran angel and they are such good friends that the Koran stays near the clown and his anemone at night.

I have a 90 gal now and added a Niger trig & a Huma Huma trigger, they’re more aggressive but amazingly they get along great! I’ll post a new video soon.

i just got back …
i just got back from the fish store and im trying to decide from a maroon clown or like 2 normal ones (forgot what their called). they said the maroons are very agressive and will dominate a 30 gallon tank. have you noticed and problems?

I heard they were difficult too, but we tried it and he is really easy to care for. Supposedly they’re vegetarians and is difficult to get them to eat anything at all, but this angel will eat anything and everything you put in the tank. The clown is actually a pickier eater. The only problem I’ve had with this guy is his face. We can’t seem to get the lateral line disease to go away, but we seems healthy otherwise.
