Salt Water Aquarium Tips and Tutorials

How do I know what power head to use for my Salt Water Aquarium?

hey people how do i know what kind of power head do i use for my salt water aquarium? I am going to get a 55 gallon tank?

what type and size filter are you going to use?
same thing for a protein skimmer?

all told you’ll want at least 5x the tank volume in turnover per hour total (filter, skimmer, PH’s).. so 500-600 gallons per hour for a fish only tank
700-800 for a FOWLR
and about 900-1000 for a reef tank more if it’s things like SPS and gorgonians

Can someone tell me how to take care of a salt water aquarium?
