The Goby/Shrimp … The Goby/Shrimp pairs are awsome. Other gobies, a blenny of some kind (they are funny), clowns of course, well, anything that doesn’t get over about 4 inches. Small angels may-be.
The Chevron tang … The Chevron tang would clean EVERYTHING! I never had any problems out of this sand bed. That fat starfish probably helped too I guess, but all in all, the sand stayed clean anyway.
I bought him when … I bought him when he was about 2.5 inches long. I work at a fish store so I got it at cost. I think it was about $25 but I can’t remember. They would usually be about $50-$60.
In a 20, in my … In a 20, in my opinion, a filter would be more important than a skimmer. If you were going to do just corals and no fish, then may-be just a skimmer. In that small of a tank a quick water change can take out a lot of waste that a skimmer would remove. I have a 20 if you look at my other videos. I have a HOT magnum canister filter on it. I ran a cpr backpak 2 skimmer on it for years but got tired of cleaning it. I just wish I had a surface skimmer attached to the magnum.
Yes, for sure. … Yes, for sure. Some people do tanks with no filter and only skimmers. I still think you need mechanical filtration. If you plan on having a lot or just big fish, you need a good filter.
