Salt Water Aquarium Tips and Tutorials

Will plants from my freshwater aquarium grow in a salt water aquarium?

im planning to change my freshwater tank into a salt water tank i have a few plants id like to keep and i have a piece of real wood as a decoration. my question is will the salt water effect it at all will it still grow normally

No, they will most likely die.

2 Reasons,

1) They have changed from different conditions, e.g. from normal water to salt water.

2) Plants like that aren’t meant to be put into salt water, it will definately kill them, try your local pet store to get special plants especially for salt water tanks.

Hope it helps…
