Salt Water Aquarium Tips and Tutorials

Can a salt water fish tank be converted in a fresh water tank?

I just bought a 100 gallon fish tank that is use for salt water, but my fishes are fresh water type so is it possible for it to be converted?

If u empty it and clean it then you are just left with a tank, so yes you can use it for fresh water

Why do dead fish in salt water sink but fresh water fish float?

As long as there is no water left in it its fine. You should probably wash everything to get the salt buildup off. You may need a new filter too.

Why was it specified as a saltwater aquarium? I think you probably can put your fish in it.
