How do you properly clean a salt water fish tank?

Hi,
I was wondering how to you properly clean a salt water fish tank. Do you have to change the water every time you fully clean it? When cleaning do I have to take the fish out? Also I will go over the fish tank ,with a magnetic device that you put on each side of the tank (inside and outside) and you swipe across it, everyday.
Thanks

how the hell do you clean your fresh water? you should never be change enough water to remove the fish….and you never fully clean a fish tank…unless the water has become tainted badly?

for my salt water tanks i change 5-10% water a week at most…and stir the sand…remove the algae from the glass…and change any filter media when needed…
