Video blog 1 of setting up a saltwater tank
This is a series of video blog entries that will allow you to come along with me to set up a beautiful saltwater reef tank. this my first fish tank of any kind. If i can do it so can you.The tank is a red sea max 130D. This is the first entry of my video blog. It covers the process from set up through cycle.

2008-10-13 Soft and Stony Coral Saltwater Aquarium
Inside tank video of my 55 gallon marine reef aquarium, inside are: Star and Button Polyps, Crocea Clam, Branching Green Tip Pink Hammer/Anchor Coral (euphyllia ancora), White Tip Tan Torch Coral (euphyllia glabrescens), Pink Tip Tan and Green Frogspawn (euphyllia paradivisa), Toad Stool Leather Coral (sarcophyton), Alveopora Corals, and a pulsing Xenia Elongate. Also a False Percula Clown (ocelaris fish), Banded Coral Shrimp, Red legged hermits, Leaf Fish, Purple star sea urchin, and some barnicales in the middle of the Torch Coral. Water is kept at a cool and comfortable 77 degrees Fahrenheit, lighting is still a low 160 total watts of t8 bulbs. Protein Skimmer is the primary filtration method, i keep my sump filter bag full and overflowing with a rufugium like setup growing a branching algae in the sump tank. Started in february 2008, 6 ft, 130g display, 70g sump, 3x MH 400W 20 000 K XM lights, 2x hydor koralia 4, ph meter, refractometer, cheato in sump+ 70 lbs live rock, fans, 1x 250 watt heater, 30g water reserve, 100 gpd RO/DI, KENT MARINE salt… Corals : tabletop Acropora sp, green montipora, orange montipora, salomon pink and orange superman monti digita, frogspawn, different anemones, kenya trees, sarcos, white pumping xenia, purple xenia, green star polyp, green hydnopora, coco worm, different riccordera, orange favia, green brain, orange brain, many kind of mushes, many kind of zoos, candy cane, devil hand, cauliflower coral, elegant coral, blue ridge, green pocillopora coral, and many more! Fishes : 12 chromis, 2 orange ocerallis, 2 onyx clowns, 1 yellow tang, 1 hyppo blue tang, 1 sailfin tang, 2 dragonnets (mandarin), 1 neon goby, many snails, conch, etc.
